This living, dynamic collection is both an exploration and celebration of the artwork, photos, and iconography which have molded my artistic practice and aesthetic. These items are all things that I grew up with in my household, no matter where that household was. All of my ideas and designs sprung from the folklore within the rich upbringing I was blessed to have. Photos of my mother when she was young and the subsequent stories behind them. The beautiful ebony bust atop my mother’s dresser I paused to admire every single morning.
